Rental agreement
This agreement is signed at pick-up and sets out the binding terms between you and Carvy Rentals for a specific vehicle and rental period. What follows is a summary of what it covers.
The vehicle
Details of the specific vehicle, its condition at pick-up documented with photographs, and the agreed rental period and rate.
Insurance and coverage
The coverage included, your responsibilities, any deductible, and what to do in the event of an accident or theft.
Your responsibilities
Returning the vehicle on time and in good condition, reporting damage promptly, covering tolls and violations, and allowing only authorized drivers to operate the vehicle.
Mileage and odometer
Where a mileage allowance applies, it is measured by comparing the odometer reading at return against the reading at pick-up. Both readings are recorded, photographed and confirmed by you and a member of our staff at the time.
Deposit and charges
The deposit amount, the conditions for its return, and any charges that may be deducted for damage, cleaning, fuel or violations.
Roadside and replacement
How to reach 24/7 roadside assistance, and the terms under which a replacement vehicle is provided. Replacements are offered subject to fleet availability and may differ in class from the original vehicle. Where no replacement is available, the rental is credited for the affected days.
